SHG TO PROVIDE INTEGRATED HOUSING MANAGEMENT SERVICE

SHG TO PROVIDE INTEGRATED HOUSING MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Southern Housing Group (SHG) has launched an improved resident-focused and integrated housing service to all residents, whether they are tenants, leaseholders, shared owners or homeowners.

On many of SHG's existing estates, leaseholders and tenants live side by side, and this trend of building estates of property for rent and sale on the same site is set to continue.

Duplication of effort and different levels of service being provided to different categories of residents across the Group, along with co-ordination and communication difficulties, prompted a large scale review of resident services. The new integrated housing management aims to provide one consistent quality of service to all SHG customers.

Project Director, Angela Prickett said: "This is a fundamental change for Southern Housing Group and has been driven by our aim to improve services to all our residents.

"Anti social behaviour is a big concern for our residents and we have introduced a new role of Anti social behaviour case workers dedicated to resolving complex cases. Estate standards is another key issue, and our new structure delivers more staff resources out of the office on estates, working with our residents to identify their priorities and to deliver local solutions."

SHG's dedicated Customer Service Centre will be a one-stop shop for enquiries for all its tenants and now owners, aiming to resolve residents' queries at the first point of contact.

What we do know, however, is that what Mr Adams did take was a very great deal of pride and satisfaction in the fact that, until last week, his name and photograph were rarely, if ever, to be found in their pages. Not that he isn't a vain man, one for whom reputation, respect and standing matter little. Quite the contrary. Adams is very proud of his notoriety among his local, north London community: what he has spent a lifetime avoiding is public recognition. No longer. This morning, Adams, the godfather behind a £200 million business built on murder, drugs and money-laundering, whose catch-phrase is "give him a slap", will wake up in Belmarsh, south London's high security prison, after admitting a five-year conspiracy to hide £1 million. While he was handed a 14-y...
