Clock Tower and Carillon Caledonian Park, Market Road, London, N7

The Italianate tower designed by J B Bunning is the only structure remaining from the huge Metropolitan Cattle Market that operated from the 1870s to 1939. The market was built on the site of Copenhagen House, a famous tavern and tea gardens that had stood there since the early 17th century.
