SHG TEAMS UP WITH ARTISTS TO PROVIDE URBAN ARTS PROJECT FOR YOUNG RESIDENTS Southern Housing Group's young residents at Market Estate in Islington were given the chance to take part in a unique graffiti-art project. Following meetings with young people living on the estate, the Group worked in partnership with design practice, Tall Tales , to organise a graffiti-art class on the estate. The activity was held in a contained area near the estate's Clocktower Place and was aimed at 13-18 year olds living at Market Estate. All art materials were provided, including spray paints, sketch books and safety masks. Reinvestment Director, Stephen Ross , said: "This was a fantastic chance for young residents to get involved in art, have fun and meet new people. The workshop was supported by the Group's community regeneration arm, the Foundation, which works to deliver projects to benefit residents.
